YoYo's were the newest addiction around the house.
The addiction lasted about a week and then it was on to something new.
If I counted the money spent on things my children were obsessed for less than 7 days, I would do the ugly cry.

I am back.
After much thinking.
Contemplating.
Debating.
Discussing.

I have decided to keep this year much more casual.

I cant do the 365 thing because it is already January 11 and I have only taken 5 pictures.

But, I can do a weekly thing.

I am going to post my favourite picture for every week of the year.
Sure, some weeks may be more exciting and I may take many more pictures, but, who cares?
I will post 23 pictures that week if I want.

I just want to keep it casual.
And not feel like I have to take pictures.

Hallefrickenlujah.

When I set out to do this 365 project, I had high hopes.
I was going to focus on my photography skills.
I was going to capture the moments.
I was going to love every second of it and appreciate every single day.

I failed miserably.
I missed days and instead doodled pictures.
I found myself wandering the house at the end of the day looking for anything to take a picture of because I had forgotten when we were out doing something fun and memorable.

Ugh.

But I don't regret it at all.
Because when I look at every single picture I have of the Year 2010, I remember where I was and what happened that day.
Even if it was nothing.
And despite missing out on some special photographed moments, I have many captured in my heart and memory.

And that is what matters the most.
