It only took me a year.

To read the first two books in the series.

I officially started book 3 tonight.

Day 117

Today has been a rough day.
And I just wanted to run away from the fighting, punching, kicking, cursing.
So I walked outside.
And saw this.
It kinda reminded me of jail.
And it was kinda how I was feeling at that moment.
Like I was in Motherhood Jail.
It is a very scary place sometimes.

Day 116

Making lunches.

Every single school day.

For the last 8 months.

Is not fun.

It sucks actually.

Someone had a birthday celebration this weekend.

She is 2.

And she loves Elmo.

And when I can eat them, I am only allowed 1/3 of a banana.

But today I was a rebel.

And ate an entire banana.

On top of scrambled egg whites.

One of my favourite flowers.
I bought a small assortment to display in my kitchen window and now don't mind washing dishes.
Ok, I still hate it but at least I have something pretty to look at.

We went for a walk on this beautiful evening.

Nothing makes me happier than going out with the family at night when it is still bright and sunny outside.

Life is swell.

Messy loves our new boat. He spends all day playing in it...while it is parked in our driveway.
He pretends to take his girlfriend{s} for a ride and then gives them a pretend kiss when he drops them off at home.
*gag*
He also turns the stereo up very loud and grooves to the Starstruck soundtrack.
Oh, to be 8 again.

I thought this would look cool.
Until I looked at it.
And now I am grossed out.
And think I need an eye lift.
Anyone have a cure for undereye circles?

I love colour.
Especially on dreary, yucky days.
I find myself looking for it just to make me smile.

I know that middle child will be successful in whatever career he chooses to do as an adult.

Doctor.

Lawyer.

Engineer.

Teacher.

Machine Operator.

Or chicken artist.

No matter what, I will be a proud Momma. I already am.

If you haven't noticed, I seem to have a thing for feet.

But only if they are cute.

While I was away visiting, my wonderful hubby took all three kids to a wedding.
