Day 90

"Mom, can you play soccer with me?"

{I hear this question about 583 times every day.}

Day 89

Joy is having a messy face while outside swinging.

Day 88

A picture of the kids for their ill Great Uncle that they have never met.

Day 87

There was nothing bright and cheery about this day.
The weather represented our mood- dark and dreary.

Day 86

My family learned some devastating news today.

Please pray for a miracle.

Day 85

See these tasty looking pastries?

They are known as "Timbits" here in Canada.

My children's Great Grandfather brings them some everyday.

Except they don't always eat them.

Mommy helps.

Day 84

Middle child's class performed 2 songs in a primary assembly today.
I am proud to say that middle child smiled....and sang along with everyone else.

I know. He is very tall.
Tallest kid in Kindergarten actually.
And he is quite proud to tell everyone.

Day 83

Middle child loves to skateboard, even though we don't live on a road with a sidewalk and our driveway isn't paved.
Instead he practices his "stunts" on our patio stones and in our barn.

You gotta do whatever works right?

Day 82

Rain, rain go away.
Come again, never.

Day 81

Not one of my best pictures but it is the only one I took.
Blech.

The boys have decided that it is fun to give piggy-backs.
No matter how often Mom says "Someone is going to get hurt".

Why cant my kids play with toys??????

Day 80

Candy and Colour.
Two of my favourite things.

Day 79

The ice on the river has melted and the fishermen/women were out.
Just a few weeks ago this area was full of snowmobilers.......

Day 78

The males in this family went to a horse show
and came back with cowboy hats
and cowboy boots.

I am convinced that they should have been born in the early 1900's
and live in Texas.

Everyone in Texas wears cowboy hats and boots right???

Day 77

{taken from cell phone}

Bathing Beauty.

Day 76

Dog crossing. Slowly.

Day 75

Day 74

My husband.
With my dog.
Watching my boys sail their homemade boats in our ditch.

Life is good.

Day 73

Hubby and I went to look at a farm near a small town called Coboconk.
I love saying that word.

Here is a picture of the {very old} shed/barn.

Just because.

Day 72

Oops. Bad Momma.

No pictures taken today.

But we watched this movie.

One word.

Disturbing.

Day 71

The snow has melted.

It has rained alot.

Everyone in this house has been wearing their rubber boots and we couldnt be happier!

Welcome back Spring!

Day 70

No words needed.

Day 69

"Mom...get your camera, quick!"

"Be very quiet and take a picture of the woodpecker on the deck, fast!"

So I did.

{is that really a woodpecker?}

Day 68

The weather has been beautiful.

The snow is melting.

And is almost gone.

This {cracked pail} was found underneath some melting snow.....along with some dog poop and Hot Wheels cars.

Day 67

A day I dread.

A day my children dread.

Dentist appointment day.

{insert "Jaws" theme music here}

Gosh, darn I hate the dentist. Not the person, just what the person does.

And I am trying my very hardest not to let my children see how much I hate it.

So I smile.
And explain how important it is to take care of their teeth.
And take them to the dentist every 6-9 months.

Both boys went in by themselves.
Without Mommy.
*sniff*
Both boys had NO CAVITIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Day 66

Strawberries.
YUM.
I eat alot of strawberries.
For breakfast with cereal, in smoothies, on yogurt.
For lunch with my healthy ham and swiss crisp.
Or at dinner for dessert.

I love strawberries.
But I would love them even more if they were dipped in chocolate.

Day 65

I have a thing for fences.
And doors.
And windows.
And rickety old barns.
I could make an album of the pictures I have taken of each.
But I think others might get bored looking at them.
And be convinced that I am weird.

I like to say I am different.

Day 64

Oldest child loves to do crafts.

Anything involving scissors, tape, glue and making a huge mess is his idea of a fabulous time.

Thursday, March 4, 2010

Day 63

Princess loves to brush her teeth.

Err......um chew on the toothbrush.

Day 62

He fits right in doesnt he?
I think "Mannequin" might be a career option in the near future.

Ok, maybe not.

Day 61

Day 60

As the baby items quickly disappear from our home for the last time, I am trying to capture the small things that I will miss.

Small, dimply hands holding sippy cups everywhere they go is something I want to remember.
