Winter has arrived.

The weather has been beautiful.

The snow is melting.

And is almost gone.

This {cracked pail} was found underneath some melting snow.....along with some dog poop and Hot Wheels cars.

It has been snowing here.
Alot.
Winter has officially arrived in the Far North.
Or..well...southern Ontario.

Luckily the boys are getting old enough to shovel the walkway.
While Momma and Princess watch from indoors. Don't worry.They enjoy it. Most of the time.

But I can't wait to put them away and get out the little girl sandals.

This has been an unusual winter.

When others think of Canada, they think of cold weather, lots of snow and igloos.

No we do not live in igloos.

We have not had much snow this winter.

It has been cold, but not like past years.

Sooooo......on this day while the weather was mild and before what little snow we had melted, Rowdy and I built a snowman.

His name was Ralph.

The next day he was a small ball.

So long Ralph.

There is a reason my husband's blog name is Busy.
Because he is busy.
All of the time.
Not only does he work a regular 9-5 job {which isn't a 9-5 job...more like a 5am-5pm job}, but he also runs a business and goes to university two nights a week.
Maybe his blog name should be Superman.

January 23, 2010.
We went for a walk today.
In January.
And the kids even played outside without freezing their tooshies.
Winter can stay for a bit longer if it is going to give us weather like this.

So much for no snow.

It snowed last night.

But at least the sun was out for a little bit.

It's the middle of January here.
And we don't have much snow.
I was even outside for just a few minutes without a coat on.

Studley was very happy too.

Just look at that little smile.
